Content on Netspilavíti.is is written and checked by a small editorial team under a managing editor. Every review and guide is fact-checked against the operators' published terms, licence data and independent reputation records before publication.
How the team works
The site has three editorial roles.
Reviewers read the full terms and payment policies, record the licence as reported and check it against the regulator's register where accessible, gather reputation data from Casino Guru, AskGamblers, Trustpilot and similar services, and write the review. They do not open accounts or test payments; reported payout times are labelled as such.
Fact-checkers verify every checkable claim in a draft against the best available source: the regulator's register, the operator's terms, the payment provider's fee schedule, independent review data or the relevant Icelandic legislation. Claims that cannot be verified are removed or qualified.
The managing editor decides what is published, approves ratings, handles corrections and is responsible for the editorial and affiliate policies. Nobody in a commercial role can change a rating or a review.
